Have Any Question?

Frequently Asked  Question?

What should I do if I smell gas in my house?

If you smell gas, act immediately. Turn off your gas supply at the main meter (usually located at the front of your property), open all doors and windows to ventilate the area, and extinguish any naked flames. Do not operate electrical switches, as they can cause a spark. Once you are safe, call our emergency gas plumbers right away.

Do you provide a Compliance Certificate for gas installations?

Absolutely. As fully licensed gas fitters, we issue a Victorian Building Authority (VBA) Compliance Certificate for all required gas work. This is crucial for your home insurance and peace of mind, proving the work was completed to strict safety regulations.

How often should I get my gas heater serviced and tested?

Energy Safe Victoria recommends that all gas heaters (including ducted heating and gas log fires) be serviced and tested for carbon monoxide spillage by a licensed gas fitter at least once every two years. If your heater is very old, an annual check is the safest approach.
